Stand and fall on managing risk in your supply chain

A #business cannot flourish and remain resilient unless it has a robust #supplychain. With 2022 looking set to be even more challenging for shippers than 2021, answering the question, "Can our company take its supply chain for granted?" with some hard truth could be fundamental to mitigating potential business impacts.

Gartner's released 2020 Supply Chain Disruption Management and Impact Survey suggested only 17% of companies reviewed had 'fit' supply chains, i.e. a supply chain that enables them to move ahead effectively after experiencing disruptions.

Companies with 'fragile' supply chains are susceptible to huge losses due to operational disruption, sales cancellations and rising freight costs and are left behind after problems occur.

We know our clients look to prepare to meet future challenges and are keen to investigate options for robustness within their supply chains rather than take them for granted. This article in Logistics Management Magazine includes some sensible questions that every business should be asking. We would be happy to help you investigate the answers to those questions.
